ENDOCANNABINOID SYSTEM

01. What Is the Endocannabinoids System?

The endocannabinoid system is made up of organic receptors throughout the body which are involved in forming memories, controlling motor function, processing pain, and affecting mood and sleep. When your body processes a cannabinoid, like our CBD oil, it reduces inflammation, soothes pain, regulates mood, and promotes a variety of healthy, healing effects.

02. What'’'s the Difference Between CB1 and CB2 Receptors?

CB1 receptors are found in nerve cells and tightly interwoven with the central nervous system in the brain (especially the hippocampus, which is heavily linked to memory) and spinal cord. CB2 receptors are more closely associated with the immune system. Together, they respond to cannabinoids by bolstering the immune system, helping to fight swelling and chronic pain, and regulating extreme emotional states.
